Known Glitches & Bug Tracker

What we count as a glitch

WEAPON DUELS is still in early access. Twin Comets explicitly labels the game as a work in progress on the Roblox page, which means we expect bugs. This page tracks three categories:

  • Confirmed - reproduced by at least two players, with a video clip.
  • Reported - single-player reports with screenshots, awaiting confirmation.
  • Fixed - patched in a named update (linked to the Updates hub).

We do not list exploit scripts. Anything that gives you an unfair combat edge - kill aura, silent aim, teleport - lives on the Scripts hub because exploiting earns a permanent ban under Twin Comets policy. This page is for unintentional bugs only.

Confirmed bugs in current builds

These are the issues we have personally reproduced during patch 2026.08.x. None of them are exploits; all are visual or UX problems.

BugMapWhat happensStatus
Knife trail hides wind-upAztec Part IIHeavy Runic trail cosmetics hide the knife throw animation, making trades feel randomConfirmed, logged on Discord
Mobile camera lockHouseSwitching to mobile sensitivity sometimes keeps the desktop camera angle until the player re-equips a weaponConfirmed
Ability icon delayAnyQ/F ability icons sometimes show as off-cooldown for half a second longer than the actual cooldownReported
Star counter desyncAnyAfter a 1 Day Case promo ends, the Stars counter briefly shows a negative value before refreshingReported
Emote wheel clippingLobbyWheel shows under the cosmetic preview when the player also opens the lockerConfirmed
Pad warmup freezeAztecRandom 1-2 second freeze during the pad warmup countdownReported

None of these block core gameplay, but each one is worth a Discord ticket if you encounter it during a ranked match.

Bugs that look like glitches but are not

A handful of common complaints are actually intended mechanics. Misclassifying them slows down real bug triage.

  • “I got shot through the wall” - usually a hit registration latency spike, not a wallhack. WEAPON DUELS uses Roblox default netcode and 60-120 ms is normal.
  • “My knife throw did no damage” - most often a cooldown overlap with Dash. Wait for the Dash animation to finish before throwing.
  • “I see enemies through the floor” - actual problem on certain Aztec lower-bridge camera angles. Confirmed bug, not user error.
  • “The duel ended with no winner” - happens when both duelists leave the pad. Re-queue the pad to start a new match.
  • “My coins disappeared” - usually a sync delay. Check the Community Stats page; rolling patches sometimes reset the local cache.

If your situation is not on either list, it is probably unique to your device. Skip to the reporting section below.

Bugs that have been fixed

Some issues from earlier patches no longer appear in current builds. They are still worth knowing because they sometimes resurface after major updates.

  • Cosmetic lock on trade - old 2025 builds occasionally locked a traded cosmetic. Fixed in the July 2026 rebrand patch.
  • Duel pad spawn inside wall - Aztec launch had a spawn collision bug. Patched in the post-launch hotfix.
  • Stars reward popup duplication - old builds showed two popups for one Stars win. Patched in 2026.07.

The full history lives on the Updates hub and on the Changelog page.

How to report a bug to Twin Comets

  1. Open the verified Discord - see the Community page for the invite. discord.gg/weapon-duels is the only official link.
  2. Find the #bug-reports channel. Read the pinned message before posting; many duplicates are already answered there.
  3. Use the template: short title, map, pad format, what you expected, what happened, video or screenshot.
  4. Do not post your bug in #general or #codes. Moderators will move it for you, but you will get faster help in the right channel.

Twin Comets reviews bug reports weekly. Confirmed bugs are tracked on the public Trello-style board pinned inside the Discord. If your bug does not appear on the board after two weeks, post a polite bump with your original timestamp.

Why we do not post “secret” or “hidden” glitches

A lot of “glitch” videos on short-form platforms are actually exploits dressed up as bugs. They fall into one of three categories:

  • Cheats - covered on Scripts hub, not here.
  • Outdated - bugs that were patched months ago, kept in videos because they get views.
  • Mislabeled - normal game mechanics (cooldown stacks, ability interactions) called glitches.

The wiki stance is simple: if a glitch gives you an edge you would not have without it, it is an exploit and falls under the ban policy. We only track unintentional bugs.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Are there any working exploits in WEAPON DUELS?

No working exploits are listed on this wiki. Anything that gives a combat edge is an exploit and falls under the permanent ban policy. See the Scripts hub.

Known visual bug after 1 Day Case promos end. The value resets after you re-open the shop.

How long until Twin Comets responds to a bug report?

Will reporting a bug get me a reward?

Sometimes. Twin Comets has handed out one-time codes for confirmed critical bugs. There is no formal bounty program.
