Items & Cosmetics Guide

Collecting is half the loop in WEAPON DUELS. Twin Comets ships weapon skins, effects, finishers, titles, and boxes alongside combat abilities — all tied to Stars (shown as coins in some UI strings after the Weapon Duels rebrand). This guide explains each item category, how codes like Pew Pew and PONY fit your inventory, and when cosmetics are worth trading versus keeping for duels.

Combat rankings live on the Weapons tier list. Loadout advice sits on Best Loadouts. Use this page when you ask “what did I just unbox?” or “can I trade this?”

Item categories in WEAPON DUELS

CategoryWhat it doesTrade notes
Weapon skinsVisual for knives and gunsOften tradeable; code exclusives hold flex value
EffectsTrails, auras, shot VFXCan obscure aim — test in 1v1 before flexing
FinishersEnd-round animationsPure cosmetic; loud finishers tilt opponents
TitlesNameplate text above characterLow combat impact; status flex
AbilitiesCombat gadgets (Dash, etc.)Not tradeable — account unlocks
Boxes / cratesRandom rolls from shopGamble only after core loadout is set

You can hold up to 64 trade slots. Filling every slot with duplicate effects is a common beginner mistake — read Trading before mass unboxing.

Code reward items

Promo codes grant specific items without spending Stars:

  • Pew Pew — Pew Pew Gun (ranged cosmetic; strong early flex)
  • PONY — Purple Pony weapon (melee-style skin; popular trade bait)
  • STARS30 — Currency bundle plus bonus items; redeem while active on Codes

Redemption path: Items (bottom bar) → Redeem Code (upper right). Track claims on the Code checklist.

Seasonal and patch drops

Major updates add themed lines:

  • Aztec Part II (Runic) — 10+ items, Runic cosmetics, new map loot tables (patch notes)
  • Battle Pass Season 1 — Sea-serpent weapon skins with heavy VFX (season page)
  • Events — Limited shop rotations and milestone codes (Events hub)

After each drop, prices on older skins dip briefly — patient traders stock Stars using Earn Stars then buy during rotations.

Stars vs coins naming

The Roblox description still says Earn Stars in many places, while July 2026 trackers and Discord copy sometimes say coins. They refer to the same duel-earned soft currency for shop buys — not Robux. The 2X Coins game pass doubles that income stream; see Game Passes tier list.

Do not confuse soft currency with Robux game passes or with Knife VS Gun Duels economies.

What to buy first (priority list)

  1. Redeem all active codes
  2. One reliable knife + gun you will actually equip
  3. First ability (DashAbilities guide)
  4. One clean effect that does not block your crosshair
  5. Trade bait / flex skins once your 64 slots have purpose

Boxes and finishers are luxury purchases. Competitive players on Review often skip loot boxes entirely until level 30+.

Trading and item value

Tradeable cosmetics follow supply and demand — not official Twin Comets price sheets. Code exclusives (Purple Pony) spike after Events when new players arrive. Runic items from Aztec held value through early July 2026 as the game crossed 10M+ visits.

Safe trading rules:

  • Use in-game trade UI only; never share passwords
  • Screenshot offers before accepting
  • Keep one copy of each code exclusive on your main
  • Verify item names — scammers reuse icons from other Roblox duel games

Readability vs flex

Heavy Battle Pass effects look amazing in clips but can hide enemy movement in 4v4. Test each new skin in 1v1 before equipping in team queues. Finishers that cover the whole screen are fun once; opponents may pre-fire your position while the animation plays.

Items that are NOT in WEAPON DUELS

Fan wikis for Dueling Grounds, Duel Warriors, or Knife VS Gun Duels list different weapons. Always confirm creator Twin Comets and place 82983707799188 before buying a “duel” item guide online.

Keeping inventory organized

  • Dedicate slots 1–10 to equipped combat gear
  • Bank trade bait in labeled groups (code exclusives, Runic, pass skins)
  • Sell or trade duplicate effects after Aztec reruns
  • Update personal tier notes when Weapons tier list shifts post-patch

This is an unofficial fan wiki. Item availability changes without notice during early access — confirm in your Items menu before spending Stars.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What items can I get from codes?

Pew Pew grants the Pew Pew Gun, PONY grants Purple Pony, and STARS30 grants a free reward bundle including Stars and bonus items.

How many items can I store?

Accounts have up to 64 trade slots for tradeable cosmetics. Abilities are unlocks and do not consume trade slots.

Are Battle Pass skins tradeable?

Many pass cosmetics are tradeable, but always check in-game tags. Some exclusives bind to the season you earned them.

Should I open boxes early?

Only after you have a core knife, gun, and Dash. Early boxes waste Stars that should fund combat upgrades.

What are Runic items?

Runic-themed cosmetics from Aztec Update Part II — weapons, effects, and finishers tied to the March 2026 patch.

Do items affect matchmaking?

No. Cosmetics and code weapons do not change pad queue rules — only your loadout choices and ability unlocks affect combat.
