WEAPON DUELS Tier List

Community S–D rankings for weapons, abilities, and game passes — updated for July 2026 meta.

Tier List

Twin Comets does not publish an official balance spreadsheet for WEAPON DUELS (formerly Duel Stars). Rankings on this wiki are community consensus from pad queue testing, trade hub demand, and patch reactions after updates like Aztec Part II (Runic) and Battle Pass Season 1. Use these lists to prioritize Stars spending, ability unlocks, and Robux purchases — not as gospel when a hotfix drops overnight.

How we rank

Each sub-page uses S–D tiers with different criteria:

CategoryPrimary criteriaSecondary criteria
WeaponsDuel win impact, range flexibilityTrade value, cosmetic clarity
AbilitiesWin rate swing in 1v1–4v4Cost efficiency, skill floor
Game PassesRobux value over 30 days of playMisbuy risk vs wrong games

We separate combat power from collection value on weapons. A skin can be S-tier in trades but B-tier in pub duels if VFX blocks your vision.

Quick meta snapshot (July 2026)

Weapons: Code exclusives (Pew Pew Gun, Purple Pony) and strong pass guns anchor most starter loadouts. Runic/Aztec shop pieces and sea-serpent pass skins chase S-tier flex with readability caveats.

Abilities: Dash remains the universal S-tier pick. Shroud and Weapon Buff fill A-tier for ambush and gun trade wins. Sprint and Soul Reap sit B-tier — specialized, not first buys.

Game Passes: 2X Coins (129 Robux) is the only must-review pass for daily grinders. Verify the store page shows Twin Comets before buying — not Dueling Grounds or Knife VS Gun Duels.

When to revisit rankings

Re-check tier pages after:

  • Major Updates banners (new maps shift gun vs knife value)
  • Ability cost or cooldown tweaks from Twin Comets
  • New Codes that add promotional weapons
  • Trade hype spikes on Discord for specific cosmetics

Sub-page index

Weapons tier list

S–D rankings for knives, guns, code rewards, Battle Pass skins, and shop rotations. Includes combat notes for 1v1 vs 4v4 and trade demand labels.

Abilities tier list

Dash, Shroud, Weapon Buff, Sprint, and Soul Reap ranked with gem/Stars costs, cooldown roles, and mode-specific callouts.

Game Passes tier list

Robux purchases scoped to place 82983707799188 — primarily 2X Coins — with buy/skip guidance.

Tier rankings mean little without mechanics:

  • Knife vs Gun — Why a B-tier gun beats an S-tier knife on Aztec plazas
  • Map guide — Lane types change perceived weapon power
  • Earn Stars — Fund ability unlocks efficiently
  • Trading — Convert flex tiers into safe deals
  • Players hub — Build loadouts around your tier picks

Disclaimer

Not official. Twin Comets can rebalance without notice. Not for other games. MVSD value spreadsheets, Dueling Grounds weapon stats, and Knife VS Gun Duels passes do not apply. Always confirm WEAPON DUELS / Duel Stars by Twin Comets before spending currency.

Contributing to meta

When you test new items after a patch, compare 1v1 win rate over ten duels before declaring S-tier. Heavy VFX skins need readability checks on House stair angles and Aztec plazas. Report consistent outliers on Discord so wiki editors can adjust tables.

Tier lists are shortcuts — pad hours still beat any ranking table. Use ours to spend smarter, then prove it on duel pads.

New player spending order

If you are overwhelmed by choices, follow this Robux and Stars sequence:

  1. Redeem Codes before any tier-driven purchase.
  2. Unlock Dash using the Abilities tier list.
  3. Equip Pew Pew and Purple Pony from the Weapons tier list.
  4. Read Game Passes before buying 2X Coins.
  5. Revisit weapon tiers after Aztec Part II hotfixes stabilize.

That path avoids the two costliest mistakes: buying Robux passes for the wrong Roblox game, and chasing S-tier cosmetics before you can aim with defaults.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is this tier list official?

No. It reflects community consensus and wiki testing for WEAPON DUELS by Twin Comets, not developer-published balance data.

Which tier list should I read first?

New players: abilities first (buy Dash), then weapons (equip code rewards), then game passes before spending Robux.

Do MVSD tier lists apply to WEAPON DUELS?

Only loosely. Some ability names overlap historically, but economies and place IDs differ. Use this wiki's pages only.

How often is the tier list updated?

After major patches such as Aztec Part II, Battle Pass seasons, and noticeable ability or shop changes.

Why are some S-tier weapons bad for me?

Tier lists blend combat and trade value. A high-demand cosmetic may hurt readability or fit your weaker range band.
