WEAPON DUELS Trading Value List — Index & Anti-Scam Checklist
Where live values live, how to read them, and the tradelog that beats every spreadsheet.
Trading values in WEAPON DUELS shift every patch. A knife worth 50,000 trade-value in Season II can drop to 8,000 the moment Twin Comets rebalances hit-regen or repackages a drop pool. This page is the reference index for value lists, demand tiers, and the anti-scam checklist every trader should run before a 64-slot trade. It does not duplicate other people’s spreadsheets — it tells you where the live numbers live and how to read them.
If you have not set up trading yet, read Trading Guide first. For per-weapon rankings, the Weapon Tier List is updated when each major patch lands.
Why this page exists
The community splits into roughly three camps for value tracking, and each camp has strengths and blind spots:
- Community Discord trackers — fast updates, but they require you to be in the server and trust the moderators.
- Third-party spreadsheets and listings — visible to search, but they go stale the moment a season ends.
- Wiki tier lists — slower to update, but they cross-reference patch notes and current codes.
This wiki refuses to be the source of record for live values (we would be wrong within a week). Instead, this page is the index that tells you which external sources we have vetted and how to read them. If a URL below stops resolving, file a fix on the Community page or our Discord.
Value tiers we trust
Every item in the game economy falls into one of six rough bands. These bands are stable across seasons — what changes is which items sit in each band.
| Band | Range | Examples (illustrative) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| S-tier Mythic | 250,000+ | Limited Battle Pass rewards, Monarch Bundle items, Pancake Cannon (drop window) | Cap of 1–2 per account; values climb when a season is closing. |
| A-tier Limited | 50,000–250,000 | Event knives, anniversary guns, code-exclusive cosmetics | Most-traded band; always cross-check before a big swap. |
| B-tier Stable | 10,000–50,000 | Meta knives (Butterfly, default Knife variants), revolver skins | Demand depends on current patch; falls fast after rebalances. |
| C-tier Common | 1,000–10,000 | Starter weapons recolored, common case drops | Easy trades; rarely worth grinding for. |
| D-tier Filler | 100–1,000 | Bulk case fodder | Trade in lots of 10+. |
| E-tier Trash | <100 | Default skins, free giveaways | Don’t trade these; you’ll lose friends. |
The exact number in each band changes. What matters is the shape of the curve — S-tier is rare and rises, E-tier is disposable.
Where to find live numbers
These are the community-tracked sources we have personally verified during September 2026:
- Weapon Duels Discord — pinned
#value-listchannel in the official server. Updates within hours of a patch. Requires you to join discord.gg/weapon-duels. - Community spreadsheets — linked from the Discord’s
#resourceschannel. Most are read-only Google Sheets with a “last updated” timestamp. - Player-to-player tradelogs — when you make a trade, screenshot it. After 30 days, your own tradelog is more accurate than any spreadsheet, because it reflects what your trade partners actually wanted.
For tiered rankings (S through E) by weapon family, our own Weapon Tier List is the cleanest cross-patch summary. It does not give absolute trade-value numbers, but it gives you the relative ordering that value lists are built on.
How Twin Comets changes values
Three mechanics drive every value shift:
- Drop pool rotation — at the start of each season, certain items leave the drop pool. Their value spikes because no new copies enter the economy.
- Rebalance patches — a knife can lose 80% of its value overnight if Twin Comets reduces its one-shot range or increases its M1 cooldown. Watch the Updates hub for these.
- Code-exclusive items — items that only exist because a creator dropped a code into the Discord. These are S-tier by default, but verify the code’s origin before paying a Mythic price. The Secret Codes page has the anti-scam checklist.
Anti-scam checklist before any trade
Run this list before you confirm any trade, especially anything over 50,000 value:
- Screenshot the trade UI — Twin Comets’ trade UI is server-validated, but a screenshot protects you if a dispute opens in Discord.
- Check item counts — the trade UI shows current ownership; if your inventory claims 64 slots but the UI shows 60, you have 4 phantom items. Restart the client.
- Confirm value tier independently — if the seller claims their knife is 80,000, check it against the Discord value list and our tier list. If both say it’s C-tier, walk away.
- Verify code-exclusives — for code-exclusive items, the seller must show the original Discord message timestamp. If they can’t, the item is probably duped.
- Never trade mid-duel — Twin Comets does not freeze trades during pad duels, but alt-tabbing out of a duel and getting trade-baited is the most common scam of the past 6 months.
- Cap risk on first trades — first-time trade partners should cap risk at 5,000 value. Build a tradelog before doing anything bigger.
For the full policy and how to report a scammer, the Anti-Cheat page covers reporting flow.
Reading a value-list spreadsheet
When you open one of the community spreadsheets, you will see columns like:
- Item name — usually includes an internal ID; double-check it matches the in-game name.
- Demand tier — S/A/B/C/D/E. Maps to the bands above.
- Trade value — the number the sheet author thinks is “fair”. This is opinion, not fact.
- Demand trend — rising / stable / falling. Rising items are your best long-term holds.
- Last sale — the most recent trade the author has observed. Use this as a sanity check; if your trade is 5x the last sale, something is off.
- Source — the trade log or Discord message backing the number. No source = skip the row.
If a row is missing a Source, the value is unverified. Skip it. Better to walk away than to pay for a phantom number.
When to not trust a value list
A value list is wrong when:
- It has no “last updated” timestamp older than the most recent patch.
- It lists items you cannot find in the current in-game shop.
- It bundles code-exclusive items with general drop items without flagging it.
- The author’s only sample trades are between their alt accounts.
- It claims a 10x jump without any patch notes to back it up.
When you see any of those red flags, cross-reference with at least two other sources before trading.
Building your own tradelog
After your first 20 trades, build your own spreadsheet:
| Date | Item given | Item received | Counterparty | Value gap | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-08-15 | Default Knife | Butterfly | alice_42 | +12,000 | Discord verified |
| 2026-08-22 | Revolver skin | Knife recolor | bob_dm | -3,000 | Avoid this user |
After 50 trades, your spreadsheet is more accurate than any community list because it reflects what your trade partners actually want, not what some Discord moderator theorized in the abstract.
FAQ
Q: Where is the official trade value list?
A: There is no official list. Twin Comets does not publish trade values. Use the community Discord pinned #value-list channel and the third-party spreadsheets linked from there.
Q: How often does the value list change? A: Every patch. Major rebalances can shift 30–50% of items in one wave. Mid-season balance passes are smaller. Check the Updates hub weekly.
Q: Are code-exclusive items worth grinding for? A: Only if the code is verified through the Secret Codes verification flow. Unverified codes = unverified items = scam magnets.
Q: What’s the safest first trade? A: Two items of equivalent C-tier value, traded with a Discord-verified user with at least 30 days of trade history. Anything more than 10,000 value should wait until your tradelog is built.
Q: Can I get scammed by a fake tier list infographic?
A: Yes. This is why this page links to live, dated sources and refuses to publish a snapshot. If you find a fan-made infographic on Twitter or Discord, treat it as marketing until you verify with the Discord #value-list channel.
Q: Where can I see item-level stats and abilities? A: The Items page collects the underlying weapon mechanics; cross-reference with the tier list for relative power.
